Romania now requires all foreigners, including diplomats, to secure notice of the introduction of non-lethal weapons before they may travel with them anywhere in Romania.
Old weapons / collection weapons and ammunition are also considered as non lethal weapons.
Foreigners are required to obtain the notice from a Romanian diplomatic representative or a consular office in the state in which they live.
Please note that this must be done in advance of importation. Before sending any shipments to Romania it is advisable to contact AGS Bucharest for expert assistance in this regard.
