AGS Movers Troyes – Our News

Specialised care for even the most demanding vehicle removals

Do you need to move your car abroad? You can trust AGS!

As one example of the faith our clients have in us, AGS' branch in Troyes, France, recently shipped a 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow to St Helena in California, USA. Before this long journey the Rolls Royce was stored in our warehouse, where we ensured that it was protected from moisture and that its battery would not run flat. The classic car was then loaded into a 20-foot container by a tow truck, before being carefully secured for transport by AGS Troyes' professional team.

AGS Movers - Devitry Champagne Cup: a success story

Golf TournamentEvery year AGS Troyes, directed by David Corpel, sponsors the AGS Movers – Devitry Champagne Cup.

The event, co-sponsored by Devitry Champagne, took place on Sunday, on 24 June at La Forêt d'Orient Golf Club in Rouilly-Sacey, near Troyes in the Champagne region of France.

The competition brought together nearly 100 participants and took place under overcast yet pleasant weather.

Not to break with tradition, the competition was marked by a sporty but friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

At the end of the tournament, the participants were rewarded by AGS with several prizes including golf balls, bags, garment bags for clothing and polo shirts.

The participants were delighted with this generous donation and thanked AGS warmly for this sponsorship.

AGS Troyes and AGS Alsace support AM Moto Racing

AGS Troyes and AGS Alsace recently sponsored the AM Motor Racing Competition Team. The team from Troyes, France is taking part in the Endurance World Championship that takes place across the globe.

This year both AGS branches have joined forces to focus their attention on Number 110, a Suzuki 1000GSXR motorcycle in the AM Moto Racing competition (pictured).

This fireball will be on the starting line of prestigious races like the French “Bol d'Or” and “Les 24h du Mans” and will be wearing AGS colours overseas (in Qatar, the United Kingdom and Spain).

The first Championship round was held on 14 and 15 April at the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit for the famous “Bol d'Or”, but unfortunately the team had to abandon the race due to a massive pile up.

A mechanical issue during the 8 hours of Doha led the team to the same result despite being in a promising first position at the time. Incidentally, the custom-made air crates used to ship the motorcycle to Qatar were built by AGS Troyes.

Despite these recent results, the team will continue their partnership with AGS for the next round on 11 August 2012, for the 8 hours of d'Oschersleben in Germany.

AGS will keep a close eye on the performance of this motorcycle throughout the World Championship.
