AGS Four Winds Bangalore recently sponsored a theatrical event, entitled ‘Eat like the French’.
This French theatrical exposé was held on 27 and 28 March, and again on 15 May, at the famous Rangashankara theatre in Bangalore. AGS Four Winds Bangalore assisted with the funding of this event, which included posters and flyers.
This French exposé is a theatrical event which includes a play, '12000 little pies and other delicacies', adapted from a book by Brillat-Savarin, a 19th century writer, and is followed by a tantalising food and wine tasting, which serves to compliment the play and aims at creating an enriching and educational experience into the French culture and its relationship with the culinary arts.
The annual ‘Pink Elephant’ charity sale, organised by the Overseas Women’s Club (OWC) in Bangalore, was held on May 6 at St Mark’s Cathedral, Bangalore.
The ‘Pink Elephant’ is the main charity event organised each year by the Overseas Women’s Club of Bangalore. The charity sale relies on donations of clothing, accessories, shoes, toys, books and movies, from the expatriate community in Bangalore, and the profit is shared amongst 22 local charity organisations.
AGS Four Winds Bangalore showed its support to the Overseas Women’s Club by providing boxes for the donations, and fetching the boxes the day before the sale. In addition, AGS Four Winds Bangalore’s staff assisted with the carrying and the opening of the boxes, and the setting up and sale of the items. An AGS Four Winds truck and banners were clearly visible during the charity sale. At the close of the sale, the AGS Four Winds team assisted with the clearing up.
The AGS Four Winds Bangalore team did an outstanding job, and the OWC committee was very grateful to them for their support. This event created an opportunity for brand awareness, resulting in a quotation request the very next day. |
