In India, The British Business Group (BBG) and the Australia New Zealand Business Association (ANZBAI) recently held the Mumbai Masters Golf Tournament on February 15.
Apart from the golf itself, there were various other activities held to raise funds for the bushfire victims of Victoria. AGS was the main sponsor of the golfing event at the lush green Wilingdon Club golf course, which proved to be a very successful fund-raising event.
The tournament was followed by beer and lunch and an afternoon of prizes and surprises for the teams, their families and guests. AGS also gave special discount shopping vouchers to three lucky winners.
In China, from 5th to 8th February, AGS Four Winds Hong Kong sponsored the Punchline Club’s highly popular “Whose Line is it Anyway?” stand-up comedy show, featuring well-known local and international talent. The Punchline Comedy Club is a monthly institution in 12 major cities throughout Asia.
Danielle Goldman, PR and Marketing Manager at AGS Four Winds Hong Kong, arranged gifts and prizes for the guests, including a two week yoga trial at a local health centre, discount vouchers on AGS services, and an AGS branded baseball cap.
Later in the month, on 20 February, a pottery party was held at the Pottery Workshop in Hong Kong for a group of corporate clients, who were invited to simply bring along an apron for their first ever lesson in working with clay.
The aim in organizing the party to create and maintain close bonds with transferees was successful. Harjit Gill from HSBC commented that he had a fantastic evening: “The event was well planned and organized, and enjoyed by all.”
