Mr Konan Banny shows his confidence in the AGS Group |
Once again, another high-profile personality has sought out the services of AGS. After His Excellency Koffi Annan (the former secretary general of the U.N.) entrusted his move to AGS Frasers Ghana in February this year, His Excellency, Konan Banny, the ex-Prime Minister of the Ivory Coast and former governor of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), chose AGS Frasers Senegal to move his personal effects into Ivory Coast. We were very honored by the trust that His Excellency, Mr. Banny, showed in AGS.

Jean-Noel Boulnois, the manager of AGS Frasers Senegal, personally carried out the technical visit in order to organize and implement the necessary means to send a 40 foot container, containing personal effects, and 5 air lift-vans, containing His Excellency, Mr. Banny’s personal documents, to Yamoussoukro.
The packing commenced from August 6th to 14th, 2007, under the supervision of a BCEAO representative. The air
lift-vans and the container were loaded and sealed in the presence of a bailiff and 2 BCEAO agents, who were under oath. The lift-vans arrived in Abidjan on September 3rd and the sea freight container on September 10th. The delivery was done on Saturday 15th September, after an 8-hour journey to complete the 250km stretch between Abidjan and Yamoussoukro. Our manager in Ivory Coast, Mr. Bernard Duret, and his team, carried out the delivery and the unpacking to the great satisfaction of the BCEAO.
AGS Frasers was also responsible for the air transportation of more than 30 birds (peacocks, guinea-fowls and pigeons), which are very dear to His Excellency, Mr. Banny. It was initially planned to transport the birds in conventional pallet boxes, which are provided by the airline, however, the quantities that were needed for an operation of such magnitude were not available. The AGS Frasers carpenters were thus tasked to build wooden boxes with wiring, in order to protect the birds during the
operation, and to ensure that they were comfortable.
Once the administrative formalities had been carried out, the birds were able to leave Senegal in the early afternoon of September 12th on a direct flight to the Ivory Coast, where our team, who foresaw customs importation formalities, was able to receive and free the birds at approximately 23H00, at His Excellency, Mr. Banny’s home in Abidjan.
Once again, the quality and efficiency of AGS’s services were applauded, and we would like to congratulate the teams at AGS Frasers Senegal and Ivory Coast for their quality work – this makes the group proud.

“Opportunities Australia Expo 07” in South Africa
AGS Frasers Johannesburg participated in “Opportunities Australia Expo 07”, which took place at the Gallagher Estate in Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, from 15th to 16th September, 2007.

AGS Frasers Johannesburg was there to market its international removals services to all prospective migrants wishing to enter Australia.
The expo attracted 8,600 people, not including children, and focuses on attracting skilled migrants from other countries to Australia, as there is a major skills shortage within Australia. This event also takes place biannually in London and Manchester, and attracts more than 20,000 skilled people every year.
AGS Frasers Johannesburg manages the moves for a number of international corporate clients, including Alcatel, Coca Cola and Procter & Gamble. AGS Frasers therefore has all of the expertise needed in order to perform international removals, not only for corporate clients, but also for individuals and their families. |
| |
As there are no AGS subsidiaries in Australia, our group use the destination services of professional agents who are selected according to their quality certifications such as FAIM and ISO.
AGS Frasers, moving with peace of mind. |

AGS at the Service of Families |
BAMBI (Bangkok Mother and Babies International), formed in April 1982, recently celebrated its 25th birthday. |
The association’s goal is to provide support, friendship and advice to mothers in Bangkok. BAMBI began with only 8 women, and now has over 650 members. This group has established itself in the Bangkok community as the leading advice and support group.
This association also releases a monthly magazine containing a wealth of information, with anything from international schools, baby sitting services, health |
| services, and an abundance of practical information, intended to make day to day living easier. AGS Four Winds Thailand, as well as many other sponsors, supported the association’s 25th birthday party financially and logistically.
On the theme of the birthday party “Free Ice Cream”, AGS Four Winds Thailand’s team gave away 350 cones to the children and their parents, as well as children’s colouring books and AGS balloons.
AGS endeavours to assist all expatriates who are new to a foreign country, and we do this by providing vital information on various institutions and amenities that will be of help to the family. We aim to ensure that each family |
is well taken care of, and that the transition into a foreign country is made with minimal strain on each family member.

AGS Déménagement and Champagne Olivier Devitry Golf Cup Challenge |
The AGS Déménagement and Champagne Olivier Devitry Golf Tournament took place on April 22nd 2007, at the Forêt d’Orient golf club in Rouilly Sacey, near Troyes in Champagne. |

Jean-Pierre Delalande, manager of AGS Troyes, in partnership with Olivier Devitry Champagnes, sponsors this tournament every year. 76 people participated in the tournament, and the golf course, which was nicely prepared, allowed for the best results.
Following the golf tournament, the marketing spin-offs were soon recognized, as 3 moves were confirmed following the tournament, one of which involved transporting a 20 foot container to the Island of Reunion.
The day drew to a close with a prize giving ceremony, which was much appreciated by all, as most golfers were rewarded for participating. Once again, AGS has proven its passion for sport, golf in particular.
