Air France Cargo has put an embargo in place that applies to all air freight exports leaving N’Djamena airport via this carrier.
A special dispensation has been granted to merchandise that meets the following conditions:
- Diplomatic shipments that are X-ray scanned;
- Jet A1 samples with the sender’s declaration duly filled in;
- Postal shipments.
As a result, no air shipments containing household goods can currently leave Chad via Air France. Other companies offering air freight export services from N’Djamena are operating as normal.
